Minecraft: Education Edition -- Launching and hosting a multiplayer game + Exporting (7)

Source: https://mojang.com/2016/01/announcing-minecraft-education-edition/
A great feature of Minecraft: Education Edition is the ability for the teacher (or a student) to host a game for others in a closed Minecraft world.  There are a few basic requirements we will need:
  1. All computers being used have Minecraft: Education Edition installed
  2. All computers are connected to the internet on the same wireless network (LindberghBYOD, for example)
    1. Note: teachers will need to turn off LAN just as they might at home or their local coffee shop
  3. All computers have a mouse connected (recommended)
  4. All students are logging into Minecraft with different account IDs
  5. The hosting computer has the desired Minecraft world loaded onto it
If you are ready to go, follow these steps:
  1. All computers should launch Minecraft
  2. The hosting computer should launch into the desired Minecraft World
  3. Students who wish to join that game should find their hosting friend in the middle tab ("Friends") of the Play menu.  Left click on the world to join.

It is important to note that only the host computer can save this world to their computer.  Other players can play in the world, but the Save & Quit option will only exit them from the game.

Export a Game

Exporting a game to be emailed, shared as a zip file, or added to another computer can be done with a few simple steps.  Watch the video to learn more:

Follow these steps to add/change the image associated with your Google account. HOW Open your email. Click your image. It might just be a blue circle if you have not added something already. Click Change . Find an image you like. Your amazing new image will appear. From now on everyone can put a name to a face!

Annotate PDF? How might I do that?

So I have a PDF and I need to edit it. Here is one method that works pretty well for me. Open Word. Click File .  1. Click Open . 2. Click Browse . 3. Find the PDF you want to annotate. 4. Click Open . Click OK when you see this box. Bam! Your PDF now opens in Word. Note: you maybe have to click Enable Editing at the top of the screen. Finished editing and want to turn it back into a PDF? Click File . 1. Click Save As . 2. Click This PC . 3. Pick a location. I usually save things to my desktop. 4. Click Save as type - and choose PDF. 5. Click Save .
