I updated my Zoom client today and check out what I now see! Now at the bottom of the meeting I am hosting, I have a small security shied. When clicked you are presented with a few options. The check means the feature has been enabled, no check the feature is turned off. Lock Meeting - one click to prevent anyone new from joining. Share Screen - now much easier to reenable this feature. Chat - you can quickly disable if needed. Rename Themselves - I have a habit of renaming myself to something like Assistance to the Regional Manager. That is pretty harmless but if it was a super busy meeting with a number of people in it I could rename myself as another participant, which might not be OK. How to update Zoom. 1. Open the Zoom program on your computer. 2. Click your profile picture in the upper right. 3. Click Check for Updates. Run the updates.
