Are there times when you have to step away from your computer and wish there was a super quick way to lock it? I know you could close the lid of your laptop but that takes like two seconds. Try this solution that only takes a fraction of a second! Hit the Windows Key + L  If you press these two keys at the same time your computer will lock! All you will need to do to unlock it is login with your password.

What is Seesaw? Seesaw is a student created digital portfolios. Whatever they create can be shared with staff, peers and parents in a flash. It is wicked easy for the students to use without a lot of instruction. Some are using it as a digital thinking notebook incorporating images, video, voice and drawing. Why Seesaw? This post was created as a reference for a presentation given at Fox Summer Literacy Institute in 2018. I was the teacher with a million different systems to keep all my notes organized. My first strategy was a clipboard with a note card for every student taped to it. It was kinda slick except I would forget it at school, outside or in a different classroom. I never had my notes when I needed them. That system fell apart way too fast. The next was Post-It notes. I'm sure you know how that ended, tons of money spent and notes all over the place. Evernote was awesome but I sometimes found it hard to use. The one part that was sweet, audio record right in the note. That might be the killer feature that separates Evernote from everything else. I'm sure you have all seen these on the road but have you stopped and wondered why?  Why do the trucks have these wings in the back? Why do they have little walls that extend below the trailer?  It would take about two seconds to figure it out by Googling it. I believe that would stop you from thinking and wondering. I wonder how many different ideas you could come up with before researching it.  A few of us are taking an online class right now about Design Thinking. One of the biggest takeaways so far is how important it is to get as many ideas out as possible through various brainstorming methods. Using this simple trailer was a great way to practice coming up with a ton of ideas, not all were logical and that is ok, and building on from what someone else said. How might you do this today?
