Wirelessly projecting your iPad!

(by Kelp)

The future is now here and no wires are involved.  You can wirelessly project your teacher iPad and student iPads onto your board.  The steps are listed below.

Take four fingers and swipe up on the screen.

Swipe from the left to the right.

Click the AirPlay button.  (Looks like a small rectangle with a triangle in it.)

Scroll through the list of teachers.  I did this at home so the list of laptops to connect to is very short.  It might ask you for a password.  Use your AD (Active Directory) password.  This is the same password you use to log into your laptop.

Turn mirroring on.

Now click anywhere on the iPad screen and you are projecting.  Any sound that plays on the iPad will now be shared throughout the speakers in your classroom.

Note: If you have a student use a personal iPad you will need to switch your teacher laptop to the student network.  Both devices will need to be on the same wifi network to work.
